Hey there! I'm Cecy

I have a bachelors in computer science and a minor in graphic design, and recently obtained my masters in sociology. I'm interested in investigating emerging technologies through a sociological lens, focusing on how societies shape and influence the design of such technologies, and viceversa. Through my work I aspire to enable a deeper understanding of the actual and potential implications of technologies, and contribute to the development of socially-aware tools that address people’s needs, especially those of underrepresented groups.
